Casa Batllo You can kick off your tour at one of the most historic places in Barcelona, Casa Batllo.

The Casa Batllo is a perfect blend of shape, color, and structure. The architectural masterpiece is by far the most popular work of the legendary Antoni Gaudi.

This site offers a feel of uniqueness and intrigue. The balconies on the building’s façade are reminiscent of Venetian masks, with the spine-like-staircase and organic feeling rooms adding to the building’s intrigue. Perhaps, the most amazing part of this building is the roof terrace which stands out with its distinct dragon shape.

The Columbus Monument For students of history, Christopher Colombus would be a household name. The monument was constructed for the 1888 Universal Exposition, to commemorate Columbus’ first trip to the Americas. Asides learning about some of Columbus’ exploits, climbing to the top of the building also offers a spectacular view of the southern parts of the city and an aerial view of Las Ramblas.
